Retired from computing faculty and staff at Purdue University and University of Kentucky. Gathering stories from the public past Pulaski County in the first half of the 20th century. Taking any class if choose at UKy every semester. Thought retirement routine was to be Law&Order reruns in the morning, then a mid-day nap with Oprah&Dr.Phil in the afternoon, and a drunken haze each evening, but that's not the way it worked out - except for the evenings. I have enjoyed the clips I’ve been receiving!! I did not know that ice harvesting was so common place….thought it was more of a “La Porte thing”.
Keep the clips coming….
We have been healthy and careful, but not crazy careful….. We are not and won’t live in fear…. Not of a virus anyway! Am reading about Britain in the early days of WWII…. Now there’s something to be afraid of!!!!
